Something about me...
During my time at Purdue Northwest, I had the opportunity to work on a variety of different styles of projects. Ranging from managing a team of designers to usability testing a high quality prototype. I learned invaluable lessons about the creative and design process, from concept development to final execution.
I thrive in collaborative environments, where ideas can bounce and evolve. I love seeing the impact of designs positively affect users throughout my work.
Personal Life:
Right now I am working on my next project and researching ways I can make a difference. This include working with others to create impact-driven designs.
However, in my spare time I am working on hobbies that give me skills in different areas. Recording and editing videos, creative storyboarding, and reading science fiction just to name a few.
Although I sometimes feel like my talking skills need some refinement I enjoy engaging with people. That brought me around to recording and editing videos focused on hobbies that I enjoy where I can connect with others that share the same interest.
Alongside the projects I have showcased I enjoy using my creativity in other things like writing stories. Going into detail making entire settings takes research into things like politics, geology, and currency to create a convincing story. It helps both in understanding more about our world, but keeps me thinking about why and how things came to be.
When I want to calm down and take a break from creating I often read. It can vary from genre to genre, but I gravitate towards science fiction as I love the vast expanse it brings with it. They hold great amounts of detail just describing the setting and it sometimes makes me have to search multiple definitions just to understand. It loosely ties into my love for creating settings myself as reading what others make inspire my next hobby adventure
